In Anuradhapura, take in the lake view as soon as you wake up. Ride a bicycle through the historic ruins of Polonnaruwa, a city that perfectly captures the island's regal past. Travel to Dambulla and visit the Gold Cave temples, which have UNESCO-designated walls that are 2000 years old.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka is Sigiriya Rock, where you can hike in the early morning. The famous enormous lion paws guard the stairway to the summit, which once held the monarch's palace. After that, proceed East to explore the Polonnaruwa kingdom's ruins. Take a city tour that includes a stop at the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic after you've checked into your Kandy accommodations.

The breathtaking views of innumerable verdant tea fields can be seen on the way to Nuwara Eliya which is 1800 meters above sea level in Sri Lanka's hill country. As you travel, stop by a tea factory and admire the magnificent Ramboda Falls. Along the hills, you can spot traditional tea pluckers picking fresh tea leaves while wearing vibrant sarees. The manufacturing facility offers a variety of teas. While it's still cold, take a city tour later in the evening.

As you awake in this city, enjoy the breathtaking view of the misty clouds. A World's End eco-destination is the Hortain Plains, where you can hike. This is one of the island's most picturesque hikes. If you're lucky, you might see deer grazing in the mornings long grass.

This day you will travel from Nuwara Eliya to Ella on a lovely train excursion. You can take pictures during this ride, and one of the stunning sights you will see is the Ravana waterfalls. Later in the afternoon, continue to Udawalawe where you are welcome to stay the night.

Savour the thrill of an early-morning jeep safari in Udawalawe Park. Elephants, crocodiles, sambar deer, leopards, wild boars, and a diverse range of native and migratory birds can all be found in this area. After that, make your way to Sinharaja for a comfortable night.
