Explore the seaside town and take a tour of the charming Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Explore the breathtaking prehistoric ruins at Polonnaruwa before continuing on to Sigiriya which is home to one of the wonders of the world.
After touring the historic city of Polonnaruwa in the morning, proceed to Kandy, the cultural hub of Sri Lanka, which is surrounded by lush hills. Spend the night there.
Proceed to Kandy town and enjoy a fascinating city tour. Examine Kandy Lake and its environs. See the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is highly regarded and loved by people from many different religious backgrounds.
Discover Nuwara Eliya, sometimes known as ‘Little England’ due to its nice climate and colonial architecture. To discover more about the process of making tea, stop by a plantation or tea factory along the way. After arriving in Nuwara Eliya, stroll around the city at your own pace, stopping in Victoria Park to admire Gregory Lake's tranquil beauty.
Continue on toward the Southern Coast, making a stop at the Dutch Fort in Galle, a notable site. Admire the breathtaking Bentota or Hikkaduwa beaches where you can unwind by the water’s edge or engage in water sports. After you've arrived at your hotel by the sea, relax.
Take a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which showcases colonial architecture and well-preserved ramparts to experience the best of the Southern Coast. Explore its quaint streets, which are lined with cafes and specialised shops at your leisure. In the afternoon spend some time lounging by the water’s edge while taking in the sun and water sports.
Awaken in the beach town to witness the breathtaking sunset. Travel to Colombo to take in the nightlife of the city. Take your significant other on entertaining activities if that's what you want to do.
